This is the demo of Casnode, an open-source forum with the look and features of Discourse, built with Go and Next.js.

Look around. The topics here are sample questions and answers about installing, configuring and running Casnode. They were written by the Casnode team, under a few sample members, to show what the forum looks like with some life in it.

Try it yourself. Click Log In and sign in through Casdoor with GitHub, Google or a Casdoor account. Then:

• reply to a topic, quote a sentence by selecting it, or ❤️ a post
• start a topic in Sandbox; test topics there may be cleaned up from time to time
• try the search filters, like docker order:likes or #configuration
• switch the interface to 中文 from the language menu at the bottom of the sidebar, or turn on dark mode on your system

Run your own. Casnode is a single Go binary plus a Next.js server, and works with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite and SQL Server. The README gets you started; questions are welcome in Getting Started.
